Social Networking for Foodies at Menuism

I noticed an article on Menuism and thought I'd check out their site. It focuses on discussing specific foods from several metropolitan cities with the intent of finding where the best food resides. I don't see how it's drastically different from the wildly popular Yelp! -- a personal favorite of mine.

Menuism faces the major challenge of building a robust community and delivering a comprehensive set of restaurant reviews -- in Silicon Valley there are currently 78 reviewers with 279 restaurant reviews.

I wish them luck in their efforts -- they've incorporated several fun features to keep users coming back, including their tip system, and their "food fight" where users can debate the best food item of the month (March is the burger) and the winner gets a prize. Their latest feature allows users to send messages to each other, and was launched just today.
