		<description>Adding a bit of vinegar really does work. It instantly &#039;solidifies&#039; the white, resulting in the egg being nice and uniform shaped when taken out of the water. It also makes it easier to remove the egg from the water. I&#039;ve done this for years, but not sure where I picked it up from.</description>
