[...] For the bigger ones, I envisioned potatoes baked with cheese so that is just what I made, borrowing heavily from this recipe at Eating Out Loud. [...]

Thank you for the wonderful recipe. We made it today for brunch and it was the favorite dish! Since my husband is vegetarian, we used veggie bacon - and it turned out great. Someday I'll have to try it with the real thing. Yum!

Wow I so love these purple potatoes and used them for the first time for the eating leeds event too - but I didn't know of the health benefits - now I have even more reasons to buy some again - although I have only found one place in melbourne that sells them - I dream of a shepherd's pie with purple mash on it!

This looks great Allen! And I'm sure it would work with whites but perhaps not quite as pretty.

Geggie is a rockstar! Thank you for coming into my life :-)

I followed the link you provided and had to change the entire way my gmail account was configured. I am now able to send a blog post and pic directly to my blog via my iPhone.

So, now when I'm out shopping or eating, I can send all kinds of crazy posts to my blog -- hooray!
