Hope you’re having a nice break! Also hope the change in diet is going well for you too!
Gorgeous pic Allen…hope you’re having fun!
Yeah Allen, how long before Calvin Klein phones you to replace Beckham? hahaha.
We passed by Ocean Beach. Not to sound biased, but compared to our local beaches (I’m not sure if you saw that post of mine), there’s something frighteningly abyssal about Ocean Beach– like you could be swept away forever. Maybe it’s from the lack of anything on the horizon..
I’ve been there. It was in the middle of the summer and it was cold. What’s up with that? Have a nice break :)
An excellent idea and a very well deserved break!
Beautifully dreamy photo… Enjoy the lovely weekend beach day!
& I heard it was unusually hot there right now, that picture certainly doesn’t look like it.
Hey everyone!
It was a nice day at the beach, even though it was super foggy. The temperature in San Jose had been near 100 that day, so visiting the beach where it was in the low 70s was worth it!
Mark is correct, Ocean Beach is kinda sad looking. It sits next to a highway and doesn’t have much of a landscape surrounding it.
Normally we drive to a beach about 30 minutes of here where there are beautiful high cliffs and the beach is much cleaner (it even has a nude section). We knew it would be crowded on such a hot day so we decided to try out Ocean Beach.
Pacific Ocean is only a 5 minute drive from our house but we don’t go there often:) Because I am so addicted to blogging now, I can’t leave the house:) Glad you had a good time there!
Allen,
I was raised just a couple blocks from Ocean Beach and love love love that photo. To me, Ocean Beach + heavy fog = comfort, cozy, deep thought, time to look inside and time to dream.
I still live in San Francisco but on Russian Hill and rarely get to the beach. Thanks for the memories!
