There are a ton of ski hills around here. I never thought about trying to see if they are open for the summer. I’m a sucker for great views. I’ll have to look up some local options.

When I was little, my grandmother made these date cookies that were hard to stomach as a small child. They were, well… ‘icky.’ I’ve since tried other things w/ dates in them & have enjoyed, so perhaps Grandma just wasn’t a very good baker LOL!

What a yummy spread. I never thought to make a sandwich out of nuts and fruit, but it is such a good idea. Your picnic spot is beautiful. I wish we had ski hills here in East Texas.

Beautiful picnic. I love the idea of dipping the chocolate in a flavoured sugar. Groose Mountain is such a nice place to enjoy your delicacies.

What an interesting picnic. Matt was asking me to make something with dates the other day so perhaps I should surprise him with these. Now as for the chocolate dipped in sugar that is over the top!
