Have fun! I loved Stockholm. Spent 3 weeks there and did overnight cruises to Helsinki and Tallinn. You can read my Scandinavia series for walking tours and some suggested food places. This was prior to blogging though so I didn't pay nearly enough attention to food.

i spent last holiday season in copenhagen and can tell you with utter conviction that you must try the pastires in denmark! now i understand why they’ve actually named those sorry pastries over here in the USA ‘danishes’. nothing like the real thing, but an homage none-the-less. let me just say this; france has got nothing on denmark when it comes to pastries, they are that good!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fudy when I went to Europe in 2004 (but maybe it’s what awakened it in me… Hmm?), so I won’t be able to suggest anything beyond Tesco sandwiches or something, or obvious culinary landmarks like Noma in Norway (modern cuisine from Rene Redzepi, very sought-after). I’m sure you’ll figure something out… Browse the internet on the cruise for sights to see ;)
