Basic Salad Dressing Recipe

A simple salad dressing made from vinegar, oil, ketchup (catsup), mustard, onion and celery seed. 

Salad Dressing
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1 cup oil
1 cup catsup (i.e. ketchup)
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 onion cut in real small pieces (i.e. minced)
1 teaspoon celery seed

Mix well.

A simple and delicious tangy dressing, similar in style to a creamy ranch dressing. Sour Cream Salad Dressing1 cup sour cream2 tablespoons grated onion3 tablespoons wine vinegar2 tablespoons sugar1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon prepared mustarddash of pepper sauce1 teaspoon paprika Combine ingredients and mix well.  Refrigerate unused portion.
