I consider this site a user guide to my life where I can share all of my constant cravings for cooking, crafting, and surfing the TV or web. It depicts what I make, collect, and do throughout my life.

Spending time in the kitchen is one of my passions. I started Eating Out Loud (EOL) in March 2007 as a food blog originally to share my cooking and baking experiences. Since there are so many things that excite me to write, the site expanded in 2010 to include additional topics that are a part of my everyday life.

I may not appeal to everyone. I’ve come to terms with this. However, I do offer a broad perspective having grown up on a rural farm and now living in a metro city. After graduating from colleges in Michigan (B.A.) and Texas (M.L.I.S), I joined the internet industry where I’ve worked for eBay Inc. and shopping search engine TheFind.com.

In 2009, I traded in Silicon Valley California for Vancouver BC where I am now a writer, internet entrepreneur, and all-around happy person (on most days).
