My motto is that it’s not sinful if it’s healthy. I craved something sweet the other day, so I decided to make a macaroon-based treat with a whole grain focus. The result is a quick-to-make granola macaroons recipe that makes a sinfully good healthy treat.
Today’s handwritten recipe card is another pulled from my vintage recipe box. While I haven’t made these myself, these holiday cookies sound like a variation on a sweet, coconut macaroon. The addition of corn flakes likely adds an extra bit of texture and crunch to the Christmas cookie.
